Quality interior finish work demands precision, an eye for aesthetics, and integrity.  Careful selection of appropriate woods and building products and the skilled handling and installation of these make all the difference in achieving a first class job.   Our interior finish carpenters can handle any kind of trim, cabinetry, mantels, ornamental woodwork, furniture, and any other woodwork requiring precise cuts with minimal margins for error.  They are also expert in the handling of natural stone such as marble, granite, limestone, slate, sandstone, etc. 

Assessing the historic character of the various spaces to identify the most important architectural features and finishes is an important first step prior to interior finish work.  Our carpenters are expert at restoring architectural features and finishes that are common to historical buildings, such as mantels, wainscoting, crown molding and miscellaneous trim, cabinets, staircases, and all kinds of natural stone surfaces.

Ron Ladina is a four-time winner of the Builder’s Exchange Craftsmanship award, and one of the finest interior finish craftsmen in the country.  He is a master at trim and finish carpentry, and is also very skilled at traditional plaster and natural stone.  Ron has a B.A. in Industrial Design from the Columbus College of Art and Design.

Frank Lloyd Wright's Westcott House Springfield, Ohio Restoration of the Burton J. Westcott house, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, transformed a deteriorating structure into a dazzling house museum. The house, built in 1908, is the only example of Wright’s prairie-style architecture in Ohio. Durable Restoration served as the construction manager for this restoration – taking the building from an altered and dilapidated state and returning it to its former glory.
