Amelia Island Lighthouse, Fernandina Beach, Florida
The restoration of the oldest lighthouse in Florida, built in 1838, included restoration of the windows and doors, painting, and re-roofing and masonry repairs to the adjacent oil storage building. The Florida Trust for Historic Preservation recognized this project with the 2009 Outstanding Achievement Award in Restoration.  The architect was Kenneth Smith Architects.
Burnsed Blockhouse, Macclenny, Florida
The Burnsed Blockhouse, also known as the Carl Brown House, was built by Sheriff James Burnsed in the 1830's at the direction of President Andrew Jackson.  This house was restored and partially reconstructed and will soon open as a house museum.  The house is unique and the only one of its distinctive design in the state of Florida.
Carson Bryan House, Kissimmee, Florida (testimonial)
The Carson Bryan House was built circa 1900 in Kissimmee, Florida. The Durable Restoration Company was hired by Kissimmee Community Redevelopment Agency to do a complete interior/exterior restoration and rehabilitation to convert the century old house into a museum and offices for the CRA. Many aspects of the house were restored back to original while LEED green building techniques were also used to improve the energy efficiency of the structure as well as to minimize the environmental impact to surrounding properties. The project was overseen by Kimley-Horn & Associates. The completed project was bestowed an award of Outstanding Achievement in Adaptive Use by the Florida Trust for Historic Preservation.
  City Point Community Church, Cocoa, Florida
This historical river church was built in the 1880s.  We recently performed extensive structural stabilization to the building as well as some interior renovations.
Curci House, Hallandale Beach, Florida
This fifteen room Italian Renaissance manse was built in 1925 by local entrepreneur, Mr. Frank Curci.  Our design/build services, done in partnership with Mr. Steve Avdakov of Heritage Architectural Associates, included historic research, full architectural and engineering design, followed by complete interior and exterior restoration and renovation.  This work included masonry and concrete restoration, structural stabilization, roofing, window, and door replacement, wood and mosaic restoration, painting, electrical, mechanical, and life safety services.
  Derby Street Chapel, Cocoa, Florida
Built 1924, the Derby Street Chapel is being restored under the guidance of Cocoa Main Street. Our work thus far has included a new stamped, metal shingle roof, new arts and crafts door, handicap-accessible ramp, and new office addition.
  Fort White Railroad Depot, Fort White, Florida
Originally built by the Savannah, Florida & Western Railway in the 1880’s, this railroad depot was moved to Branford at one time and recently moved back to Fort White.  Our project involved moving and rotating the building to its original location and orientation.  Also included were installation of new brick piers, interior wood restoration, repainting to match original colors, new doors, new dock and bathroom, and new mechanicals.
  Glynn Academy, Brunswick, Georgia
The Old Glynn Academy was built in 1840 and is the oldest standing wooden schoolhouse in Georgia.  In 1915, the building was moved to Sterling.  Our project was to dismantle and move it twelve miles back to its original site in Brunswick.  Once on site, the building was reassembled over a new stem wall foundation.  Structural stabilization work was performed on the walls and roof and other areas to bring the building up to current hurricane code standards.  This project was overseen by John Tuten Architects as well as Robin Williams, Director of the Architectural History Department at the Savannah College of Art and Design.  
The Historic Waterhouse Residence Museum, Maitland, Florida
The Historic Waterhouse Residence Museum was built in 1884 by William H. Waterhouse for his family and is now operated as a house museum by the Maitland Historical Society, demonstrating what life was like for a middle class Victorian family.  Our project included repair of the siding and re-painting.
  Moffitt House, Hallandale Beach, Florida
Our project included initial structural stabilization to this house which was built in 1906 and is one of the oldest residential structures in Broward County.  Stabilization was to in preparation for the move to its new location adjacent to the Curci House, and eventual restoration.
  John Morgan Ingraham House, Arcadia, Florida
Dating back to the early part of the twentieth century, the Ingraham House is recognized by historians as a prime example of an early Florida Cracker house.  Our work included installation of a new pine shingle roof on main building and the careful dismantling and labeling of part of the structure for future reconstruction.
  Old Bostwick Schoolhouse, Bostwick, Florida
The Old Bostwick Schoolhouse was built in the 1921.  After decades of deterioration due to vandalism and weather, our project enabled the adaptive reuse of this historic building to its new use as a regional library for Putnam County.  Our extensive renovation and restoration included new wood floors, new custom milled bead board walls to match existing, and new mechanicals and electric.  This project was overseen by Mr. Ken Smith, FAIA, and received the 2008 Florida Trust for Historic Preservation award for Outstanding Achievement in the Field of Adaptive Use.
  Ponce Inlet Historical Museum, Ponce Inlet, Florida (testimonial 1) (testimonial 2)
Formerly the Meyer Davis House (c. 1920) & Hasty Cottage Post Office (c. 1880), these two adjacent buildings were restored by The Durable Restoration Company and is now the Ponce Inlet Historical Museum. The architect on the project was Sid Corhern. The completed project received an award for Outstanding Achievement in Restoration from the Florida Trust for Historic Preservation.
Porcher House, Cocoa, Florida
Built in 1916, the historic Porcher House in Cocoa is an excellent example of twentieth century classical revival architecture, adapted to the Florida climate.  In the 1950s, the city obtained it from the Porcher family and turned it into city hall.  With the assistance of state grants and city funding, we performed extensive renovations to the interior and exterior of the house.  Listed on the National Register for Historic Places, this Cocoa landmark is now open for public viewing and special occasions.
Pritchard House,Titusville, Florida
Built in 1891, the historic Pritchard House is an excellent example of Queen Anne architecture.  Located in Historic Downtown Titusville, the Pritchard House is undergoing the first stages of restoration with the assistance of a historic preservation grant from the Florida Historic Commission.  Our work thus far on this project includes a new roof structure and new LifePine shingle roof, and the rebuilding of the intricate porch.  Listed on the National Register for Historic Places, this project is being overseen by the North Brevard Heritage Foundation and Mr. Ken Smith, FAIA.   
Sika Residence, Clearwater, Florida
This project included restoration of the slate roof on this residence which was built on the St. Joseph Sound in 1915.
 

South Hamilton Elementary School, White Springs, Florida
The South Hamilton Elementary School was a 1930s Work Progress Administration (WPA) building that remain` an elementary school today.  Our project included lead paint abatement and re-painting of 120 windows.
