Zion Lutheran Church
New Orleans, Louisiana

The Zion Lutheran Church, located on St. Charles Avenue in the historic Lower Garden District of New Orleans, was built in 1871.  The church building suffered extensive exterior damage from Hurricane Katrina in 2005.  Our comprehensive exterior restoration project included:

• structural stabilization of the main roof structure
• installing new slate on the entire roof including steeple
• installing new siding
• restoring the louvers
• repainting exterior woodwork

Replicated and installed finials that were blown off the steeple by Hurricane Katrina.
