Steeples and spires are usually tall and have limited access. As a result, they are often not repaired until they have deteriorated to the point where they are structurally unstable. Repairing steeples and spires while the structure is still in good condition is quite important, especially considering the fact that most steeples are the highest point within their vicinity and are unprotected from the high winds generated by storms.  Durable Restoration has repaired or restored dozens of steeples and has the expertise to properly diagnose and repair problems with them.

	Trinity Lutheran Church, Columbus, Ohio New slate roof on steeple including replicating the 16' finials at the corners. Builder's Exchange Craftmanship Award winner.		Ephesus Seventh-Day Adventist Church, New York, New York Installed new lead coated copper spire on stone steeple in New York City. The 37' spire was built in Ohio and trucked and lifted in place and secured at the church in New York by our artisans.
	St. Mary's Church, Columbus, Ohio New slate and copper roofs with custom built copper dormers on this 197' steeple. Builder's Exchange Craftsmanship Award winner.		Cathedral of St. Peter the Apostle, Jackson, Mississippi The project started with extensive structural repairs. A new copper roof was installed inside below the louvers. All the louvers and trim were covered in copper. Masonry restoration on upper part of steeple, A new slate roof with copper flashings and finials were installed. Some of the finials were gold-leafed.
	First United Methodist Church, Lancaster, Ohio New copper and glass cupola atop the sanctuary roof. NRCA Gold Circle Award winner for steep roofing as well as safety innovation.		Northwood Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Indianapolis, Indiana New copper flat-lock copper roof.
	First United Methodist Church, London, Ohio New slate roof and box gutters with ornamental wall and finials. The ornamental elements had been removed decades earlier, and our craftsmen were able to restore the steeple by rebuilding it from looking at an old post card. Winner of Builder's Exchange Craftsmanship award.		First Presbyterian Church, Logan, Ohio New terne coated stainless steel cupola and spire.
	Grace Memorial Lutheran Church, Shippensburg, Pennsylvania The new slate roof installation on Grace Memorial Lutheran Church included a number of steeples and spires.		Broad Street Presbyterian Church, Columbus, Ohio Successfully repaired leak in steeple after many failed attempts to do so by others over many decades.
	Central Christian Church, Lexington, Kentucky Included in the re-roof of Central Christian Church in Lexington was the re-slating and re-construction built-in gutters on the steeple.		Historic Tallmage Church, Tallmage, Ohio Installed new copper weathervane spire on this historical Ohio Historical Society museum.
	First Cingregational Church, Akron, Ohio Installed new copper monitor with new windows atop the First Congregational Church in Akron, Ohio. Winner of NRCA Gold Circle Award for steep roofing, Builder's Exchange Craftsmanship Award, and AIA Design Award.		St. James Episcopal Church, Baton Rouge, Louisiana New slate roof, copper finials, masonry restoration, and copper louvers on steeple.
	Boulevard Presbyterian Church, Grandview Heights, Ohio New diamond pattern copper roof.		Zion Lutheran Church, New Orleans, Louisiana Installed new slate on steeple, Rebuilt four wooden pinnacles in our shop and installed with new stainless steel crosses. Extensive repair of structure.
	St. Colman of Cloyne Catholic Church, Washington Court House, Ohio New slate roof and copper flashings installed on steeple.		B & O Railroad Museum, Oakland Maryland New slate roof included this bell shaped turret.
	Zion Lutheran Church, Akron, Ohio New Vermont green, purple, and red patterned slate roof with new copper flashings and finials.		Keller Residence, Upper Arlington, Ohio Virginia Buckingham slate turret installed with a European method and finished with custom copper finial.
